His photos are usually in a grayscale style and mainly depict Western America. If you were to compare his works to an amateur photographer, the differences are apparent. With Ansel's photos, you can clear depict the landscape it depicts, and its compositions. With this photo in particular, the way the trees are set up in the foregrounds really add to the aesthetic value this picture brings.
